Cub Leader

Do you enjoy seeing young people grow in confidence and independence? We’re looking for enthusiastic adult volunteers to become Cub Scout Leaders, supporting children aged 8–10½ as they explore new skills, friendships, and adventures.

As a Cub Scout Leader, you’ll help plan and run a wide range of activities — from games and creative challenges to outdoor adventures, camps, and skills nights. You don’t need previous Scouting experience; full training, programme resources, and support from a friendly leadership team are provided.

Why volunteer as a Cub Scout Leader?

  • Be part of exciting adventures and camps
  • Help young people build confidence and teamwork
  • Gain leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • Join a supportive, welcoming volunteer team

We know everyone’s availability is different, so volunteering is flexible and shared across the leadership team. Whether you can help every week or occasionally, your contribution will be genuinely valued.

Help Cubs discover what they’re capable of — and have fun doing it.
